Jenny Wilson was elected in November 2004 as an At-Large member of the Salt Lake County Council.
Since joining the Council, Jenny has spearheaded a more extensive review of County ethics ordinances and policies, initiated reviews of Countywide fiscal policy and has focused on environmental concerns, including open space preservation.
Jenny was born and raised in Salt Lake City. After graduating from the University of Utah in 1988, she worked in Washington, D.C. as the Chief of Staff to former U.S. Representative Bill Orton. In 1998, Jenny received her Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University. Jenny has also worked for the Sundance organization, and for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee, playing a vital role in the success of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
Jenny and her husband, Trell Rohovit, have two sons, Zachary and Max.
